Stollen is a traditional German Christmas batch with centuries of history. The cake contains a large amount of candied fruits, almonds and fillings from marzipan. A special feature is that it is baked 3-4 weeks before Christmas, and can be stored in a cool place until the very spring. The longer the shtollen is infused, the more vividly its taste qualities are revealed.
